Home > About Us > Eco-Friendly Court Surfacing Processes

We use an eco-friendly approach for each of our projects. By using innovative techniques and green materials, we believe that we can make a difference in a clean and safe environment. Examples of our green processes include:

1) Capturing And Reusing Water Used For Cleaning Equipment For Other Aspects Of The Project

We reuse water that is used to clean equipment such as brooms, blowers, and shovels. We capture the water from our equipment in a large container. Not only does this reduce the amount of wastewater we produce, it means that we do not need to purchase additional water for our operation. This assists us in saving money, and it reduces our environmental footprint.

2) Use Of Green Wise Certified Materials – Certified By The Coatings Research Group Incorporation

We use certified materials in all of our projects. Certified means that the manufacturers follow strict environmental guidelines in the manufacturing process. They are subjected to rigorous testing, and they are required to report their test results to the CRG certification body. We believe that this is a good way of ensuring that we use safe, quality materials.

3) Manufacturing Process of Surface Materials Qualifies For LEED SS Credit 7.1

The United States Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program provides a point system for green building certification. The points are awarded for processes that incorporate green materials and for reducing waste. By using the coating manufacturing process that we use, we can qualify for LEED Certification.

4) Use Of Products That Are Made From Recycled Materials

We use recycled materials on a regular basis, including recycled glass and rubber. The process uses materials such as old tires and plastics that would otherwise go to landfills. These items are ground down into a powder, which is then used as an ingredient in the asphalt mixture that we use.

5) Our Full Depth Reclamation Process

Our full reclamation process for reconstructing existing asphalt courts recycles existing asphalt and stone materials on-site to reconstruct the foundation. This process eliminates material disposal concerns, reduces hauling emissions, and decreases pollution involved with heating and mixing asphalt. We believe that this is a great way of keeping our costs down while still producing a quality product.

Aside from our current processes, we are always looking for new and innovative ways to reduce our carbon footprint. We value creating a clean environment to protect our planet and make a safe place for our children. We are always keen to learn new ways to deal with issues such as excessive heat and cold, stormwater runoff, and we want to contribute to a cleaner environment. It has been our goal since the beginning to become a green company.

Why Is It Important To Use Eco-Friendly Court Resurfacing Procedures?

Reusing and recycling are important for the health of our planet. We care about the environment, and we want to do everything we can to protect it. By using eco-friendly procedures, we reduce pollution and save money in the long term.

These types of court resurfacing processes ensure that we always use quality materials which increases their lifespan. This means you will get the longest possible use out of your court without having to resurface it again. It also protects you against injury because these courts are at their safest when they are in good condition.

How Can I Tell If A Court Has Been Resurfaced Using Green Procedures?

Since the manufacturing processes differ for every type of material, there is no one way to tell if a court has been resurfaced using green procedures. However, some courts will come with a certificate of authenticity to prove that they have been manufactured using green materials. You can also contact the company directly to ask them what type of material was used in your resurfacing project.

If you are unsure about the status of your court, we can provide you with an analysis. This will help you determine the extent to which our services can improve the quality and safety of your tennis or basketball court. You can contact us at any time for more information about resurfacing procedures that involve green materials.

How Can I Find Out If A Company Uses Eco-Friendly Procedures?

It is important to work with a company that uses eco-friendly procedures when you want to resurface your court. This ensures that no unnecessary damage is done to our environment and protects it in the future. Not all companies use environmentally safe practices, so it is essential that you do your research before hiring anyone.

You can start by asking the company what types of materials they use on-court resurfacing projects. After this, you will need to find out whether or not their methods are eco-friendly and how they handle waste products at the end of every job. These questions should give you an idea of whether or not the company uses green practices on a regular basis.
