Resurfacing
Over the 30 years we have been in business, we have engaged in many projects requiring resurfacing of worn-out courts. A tired court that is cracked, uneven, and compromised presents significant challenges for players and facility owners. At North State Resurfacing, we address the underlying issues with great attention to detail using advanced techniques. Our process can reduce maintenance costs and extend the lifespan of the courts.
Construction and Installation
We begin each construction project with a consultation to learn about the sports court service you need, the materials you are interested in, and other important items that help us assess the tennis court installation costs. We evaluate the sub-base to find out what is beneath the ground and whether it can support a court and our engineer provides recommendations based on the findings. From there, we grade and install a stone base and then, finally, pave. We use a proven process that has created many satisfied customers.

At North State Resurfacing, we construct, install, and resurface tennis courts that demand specific knowledge and an understanding of local laws and regulations. Our builders know exactly what is required in a project and how to get it done. Since we began in 1990, we’ve renovated thousands of outdoor courts across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
Basketball Courts
Regardless of whether you need to install a full-length regulation-size basketball court at a Division 1 university or construct a small backyard court for a private residence, our licensed basketball court team can handle it. With over 30 years of experience constructing basketball courts throughout North Carolina, we have installed courts at schools, universities, country clubs, private residences, public parks, military bases, and government installations. We can build a court to suit any skill level and our courts are durable for a variety of play. We offer options for a multi-sport game court and custom designs as well.
Pickleball Courts
Our team has the expertise that is required for your pickleball court needs. We use Novaplay® Pickleball surfacing that is designed exclusively for the sport. We have installed, repaired, and resurfaced pickleball courts as well as converted tennis courts for dual play. As the sport is growing exponentially, the need for transitioning underutilized tennis courts into pickleball courts as well as converting courts for multi-purpose has increased.
