Description
BABOLAT PURE AERO JUNIOR 26 INCH PERFORMANCE TENNIS RACKET – THE BEST JUNIOR RACQUET FOR SPIN AND POWER Babolat’s now iconic Pure Aero Junior 26 is a spin machine with plenty of power – but one-inch shorter than an adult version, so it’s easier for juniors to wield. It has all the technologies as the adult version, so the only difference is the one-inch shorter frame. The adult version – made popular by Rafael Nadal and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga – is the newest edition for 2019 and has an amazing update to the cosmetics. The flex of the frame was lowered ever so slightly in response to players asking for a more controlled response in a frame that is a bit more arm friendly as well. Babolat also repositioned the Cortex dampening material to 3 & 9 o’clock, which gives this aspiring tournament junior’s stick a softer feel on impact. The 2019 version of the Pure Aero Junior 26 still has a 100 square inch head, comes strung at 9.2 ounces – a feather-light frame that allows for great maneuverability around the net – and won’t tire their younger arms going into the 2nd and 3rd set; and naturally the spin-generating, 16×19 string pattern has been retained as well. The FSI Spin Technology, or wider spacing of the strings at 6 & 12 o’clock, allows for maximum string movement, and thus, snapback, which propels the strings upward, creating massive RPS (Revolutions Per Second – aka SPIN!). The Aeromodular 3 shape of the frame was strategically engineered to reduce wind drag, resulting in faster swing speed. This provides ample access to the speed and power advanced junior players are after when hitting deep, penetrating shots with heavy, heavy topspin. It truly is a spin machine! Suited for advanced junior players, ages 10-12 with full strokes. (See ‘Specifications’ tab for more detailed racquet information) New Pure Aero Technologies: AEROMODULAR 3 – AERODYNAMIC FRAME: An aerodynamic frame shape at the throat, head, and shaft of the racket which reduces wind drag, resulting in greater swing speed and maneuverability. CARBON PLY STABILIZER TECHNOLOGY: A space-age carbon layer is embedded into the graphite profile of the frame in order to increase torsional stability and control. CORTEX PURE FEEL: A viscoelastic rubber layer is applied in between carbon layers, resulting in amazing vibration and shock absorption. The 2019 version moved it to 3 & 9 o’clock on the head, which increases ball ‘dwell time’ on the strings, as well as the spin potential. The new sound made upon impact is addicting, and needs to be heard in order to truly appreciate it. FSI SPIN TECHNOLOGY: FSI, or Frame String Interaction, is a more open string spacing between cross strings #5 – #12, resulting in a greater ‘bite’ on the ball. The grommets are oblong shaped (see image for reference), which allows the strings to move more and provide much greater snapback. The result is a substantial increase in Revolutions Per Second – aka SPIN! Learn More About Babolat Tennis Racquet Technologies Here
