Description
The Nova NovaSurface Acrylic Tennis Court Resurfacer 5 Gallon Pail is made up of 100% acrylic concentrate to be blended with sand and water at the jobsite. It is used as a resurfacer for pavement prior to the application of acrylic color surfacing systems. The sand filled mixture is squeegeed over the surface to fill voids and hide the profile of aggregates in the pavement. The use of Novasurface over an open or porous asphalt mix will seal the pavement, make it smoother and increase the yield of subsequent Novacrylic color materials. ADVANTAGES OF NOVASURFACE: Unlike asphalt emulsion resurfacers, Novasurface does not deteriorate with age. It is resistant to water and does not have to be rolled after application. Another advantage is the easy wash up and cleaning of tools with water. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Dilution: 2 parts Novasurface to 1 part water – add 10 – 15 lb sand (50-60 mesh) per gallon of Novasurface Spreading Rate: 0.06 – 0.10 gallons per sq. Yd., per coat // 90 – 150 sq. Ft. Per gallon, per coat Crack Filler: add sand to undiluted Novasurface until consistency of putty Color: Dark Grey Weight: 10.8 lbs per gallon Minimum Application Temperature: 50°F and rising. Apply with a neoprene rubber squeegee. Novasurface may be applied over uncoated concrete only after priming with CP-761 Concrete Primer. NOVA SPORTS USA strives to produce the finest, safest acrylic sport surfaces in the world.
